I went to Setton today for an eye test and check up as my eyes were very bloodshot and sore. I had a thorough examination and the optician explained I had an allergy which had caused the sore eyes and told me how to treat it, including throwing away old eye makeup. He also picked up things that no other optician had before; blocked glands and a mark on one eye that I would have been born with. I was able to see the pictures on his screen. The optician showed me how to massage my eyes to unblock the glands and also suggested a heated eye mask to use daily. A wonderful service and a wonderful optician who I would recommend if you want a proper eye examination that isn't rushed. Thank you.

This was my first visit to  J.C. Setton Opticians, and I was delighted with the service I received.  The examination was very thorough, and the optician made me feel  at ease.  I was given good advice, and felt confident with the staffs knowledge.  There was a good range of frames which were reasonable priced I would definitely recommend the Setton Team.

I recently went along to my Local Independant Opticians and had a wonderful experience! I previsiously went to a different opticians and had awful service whilst I was there and when my spectacles came through (late), they had the wrong prescription. So I decided to go to my Local Independant Opticians and I immediately felt a change as the service was brillant and the staff was helpful! Also the Optician was more thorough with the eye examination. The great thing is that my spectacles would come back by the beginning of next week and they also gave a nice discount! My spectacles came through on Monday and they were marvellous! I now had nice pair of spectacles with the right prescription and I was over the moon!

I would recommend this efficient practice to anyone as the staff were all very thorough with their work!

I would highly recommend Setton Opticians.  I do not have the easiest of prescriptions to find contact lens for but Mr Pankhania ensured that the lens were the best available for my prescription and that I was completely happy before settling for the ones I have, even though this took several months and  quite a few trial lens nothing was too much trouble.  It is so refreshing to find a company nowadays where the emphasis is on the customer and at the same not charging them a fortune.
